Arabic Calligraphy Workshop

Join us for a two-day Arabic Calligraphy Workshop at Made By Me, in collaboration with AK Art and Calligraphy! Over two afternoons, you will learn the art of Arabic calligraphy and create a finished piece to take home. No previous calligraphy experience or knowledge of Arabic is needed.

What you will learn

Day 1 — Saturday, November 7, 2026, 3:00–5:00 PM: An introduction to Arabic calligraphy, how to hold the pen, basic strokes, and selected letters and connections. Participants will choose their name or a short positive word for their final project.

Day 2 — Sunday, November 8, 2026, 3:00–5:00 PM: Guided practice, followed by creating a finished calligraphy piece on quality art paper with a simple decorative border.

Your take-home project

A personalized artwork featuring the participant’s name in Arabic or a word such as “peace” or “hope.”
